This is my favourite Soft Pastel Painting. One early morning on my way to visit a Friend in Klerksdorp between Douglas and Kimberley, I spot a patch of Camelthorn Trees next to the Road and stopped. As I walked toward the Trees, I saw the Contrast of the Bright Sunshine behind the Trees and took a picture with my Cell Phone and decided to capture this Moment with Soft Pastel on Pastel Board. This is one of my favourite Paintings and I took Extra Care to capture the Bright Sunlight on the Veldt and Crops behind the Trees without compromising the detail of the Trees and Branches. I was very happy with the End Result, the Size of this Painting is 600 x 450mm.
